THE STORY:
“It’s way easier for them if we hate ourselves.”
Charlie, Willow and Evie are a tight-knit friend group of teenage girls. As Willow struggles more and more with an eating disorder, she becomes disconnected from her friends, her family and even reality. The girls are followed around by a backstabbing and cruel Greek chorus. Pretty Girls is an edgy, witty and surreal exploration of suffocating beauty standards.
