THE STORY:

AN ELVIS IMPERSONATOR EMBRACES A NEW WAY OF LIFE

A banquet of fabulous outfits, fierce performances, and epic drag anthems awaits you at The Legend of Georgia McBride. Meet Casey, a young, down-on-his-luck Elvis impersonator swiveling his hips at a Florida dive bar. When the owner replaces his act with a B-level drag show, Casey decides it’s time to hang up his spangled jumpsuit for good. But then a queen drops out at the last minute, leaving him no choice but to step into her stilettos.

The BUZZ:

“Under the direction of Jamie King, the story flows wonderfully… The spectacular finale number may leave you humming and dancing out of the Stanley. But the show will also remind you of the importance and relevance of the story amid continued backlash against the queer community.” - Vince Kanasoot, Stir Vancouver

“Overall though, The Legend of Georgia McBride is a good ride. It’s also kind of a love fest, which is heartwarming — and helpful — in this era of increasing anti-drag hatred.” - Colin Tomas, Blog
